Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 15+ years on large-scale application design and development.
• Expert proficiency programming in Natural using ADABAS.
• Experience with Software AG’s NaturalONE Eclipse-based development environment.
• 5+ years’ project management experience.
• 5+ years’ experience working with customers on defining requirements.
• Expert proficiency working with customers to define requirements.
• Strong ability to design solutions across multiple systems or sub-systems.
• Demonstrated experience interacting with software development and management personnel.
• Demonstrated experience interacting with infrastructure support and management personnel in cloud and on-premises environments.
• Proficient in O365 components (Word, Excel, etc.).
• Clearance required: active Top Secret clearance and SCI eligibility.

Responsibilities

• Manage a team of technical architects and developers.
• Assess existing background investigation support systems and processes.
• Interact with customers and stakeholders to understand requirements and program needs.
• Design scalable and efficient solution architectures.
• Ensure compliance with federal regulations and standards.
• Develop architectures addressing requirements and align with regulations.
• Collaborate with development teams for implementation of solutions.
• Conduct reviews to measure effectiveness of solutions.
• Provide expertise in federal contract and grants management.
• Use JIRA for requirements tracking.
• Design solutions that meet customer requirements.
• Interact with other development team personnel.
• Develop software using Natural with ADABAS.
• Maintain file transfer processes using Connect Direct.
• Develop and maintain JCL for batch processing.
• Develop and maintain IBM MQ queues and flows.
• Proactively identify potential solutions for customer and project needs.
