Job summary

CIS Secure seeks a Principal Solutions Architect for our Ashburn, VA headquarters. This hybrid role combines on-site work in Ashburn with remote flexibility and up to 50% travel to support customer engagements and industry events.

You will collaborate across Product, Sales, and Engineering to translate mission and functional requirements into compliant architectures, guiding designs from concept to delivery. In-depth DoD and security standards experience is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering required; Master's preferred.
• 5+ years in Aerospace/Defense designing military-hardened IT systems.
• U.S. citizenship required.
• Top Secret clearance preferred or ability to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary architect of new solutions and projects, translating requirements into architectures.
• Lead requirements documentation, design alternatives, and oversee solution development and execution.
• Interface with government stakeholders and system integrators to ensure DoD alignment.
