Job summary

Amazon.com Services LLC is seeking a Principal Product Manager – Technical for the Amazon Kids team to lead AI-powered family services development. You will own the strategy for Parental Controls, Personalization, and Parent's Assistant, and drive end-to-end product delivery with a strong technical focus.

You will collaborate with engineering, research, and design to define architectures, evaluate models, and implement robust, safety-conscious customer experiences across devices and platforms.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of product or program management, product marketing, business development or technology experience.
• 3+ years of hands-on experience building and shipping AI/ML-powered products, with emphasis on generative AI.
• Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition.
• Experience with end to end product delivery.
• Experience contributing to engineering discussions around technology decisions and strategy.

Responsibilities

• Define the product vision and strategy for AI-powered family services spanning Parental Controls, Personalization, and Parent's Assistant.
• Build with AI — lead end-to-end development of generative AI products, from ideation and architecture through launch and iteration, including hands-on technical design, model selection, prompt engineering, and evaluation frameworks.
• Own the technical roadmap — make sound architectural and technical trade-off decisions in close partnership with engineering, applied science, and design.
• Translate customer needs into product — turn insights about parents and families into experiences that are safe, trustworthy, and delightful.
• Drive cross-functional alignment — coordinate across teams and senior stakeholders to deliver results.
• Define success metrics and experimentation frameworks to measure the impact of AI-powered features on family engagement, safety, and satisfaction.
