Job summary

Oliver Wyman is seeking a Principal/Senior Principal in the Property & Casualty Actuarial Consulting Practice. The role centers on building the regional business development plan, leading large client engagements, and guiding strategic risk and capital modeling initiatives.

You will mentor junior staff, oversee technical work product, and strengthen client relationships while traveling as needed and coordinating with global leaders to execute growth strategies.

Qualifications

• ACAS/FCAS credentials or equivalent with 10+ years of consulting experience focused on Property and Casualty clients.
• Proven ability to lead client relationships.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Willingness to travel as needed to support client engagements and business development.
• Collaborative team player with cross-functional experience.

Responsibilities

• Ownership of the business development plan and revenue target for the P&C region with a focus on large account pursuits.
• Supervise business development collaboration with senior managers and Principals, maintaining knowledge of BD-related engagements across the P&C Practice.
• Create and deliver content for monthly regional updates on business development activity.
• Identify and develop subject matter experts in their field.
• Review and validate client deliverables for technical accuracy and integrity across analyses and exhibits.
• Mentor junior staff to support career growth and advancement.
• Prepare and deliver high-quality exhibits and written reports to present findings.
• Strengthen client relationships and drive BD activities, including proposals and presentations for prospective clients.
• Manage actuarial projects including loss reserving, pricing/ratemaking, predictive modeling, and economic capital modeling.
