Job summary

Oliver Wyman is seeking a Principal in the Property & Casualty Actuarial Consulting Practice for the Northeast Region. The role partners with regional leadership to drive business development, manage client relationships, and lead cross-functional teams to deliver strategic actuarial insights.

The successful candidate will oversee revenue growth, supervise BD activities, mentor staff, and deliver high-quality client reports and proposals.

Qualifications

10+ years of consulting experience focused on Property and Casualty clients.
Ability to lead client relationships and develop business opportunities.
Strong strategic thinking, organization, and communication skills.
Willingness to travel as needed to support engagements and BD.

Responsibilities

Own the business development plan and revenue target for the P&C region, focusing on large accounts.
Supervise BD collaboration with senior staff while maintaining BD knowledge across the practice.
Collaborate with Global Strategy & Innovation to publish regional BD updates.
Develop and refine growth strategies, new business, and service delivery across the practice.
Identify subject-matter experts and mentor staff for career development.
Review client deliverables for technical accuracy and present findings to clients.
Strengthen client relationships and guide proposals and presentations for prospects.
