Job summary

Oliver Wyman seeks an experienced Principal for Property & Casualty Actuarial Consulting in the Northeast Region. You will spearhead the business development plan, lead client engagement, and collaborate across the firm to grow the practice.

The role requires 10+ years of P&C consulting experience, strong leadership, and the ability to deliver compelling proposals and reports for a diverse client base including self-insureds, captives, and (re)insurers. A hybrid work arrangement is available.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of consulting experience focused on Property and Casualty clients, including self-insureds, captives, and (re)insurers.
• Exceptional organizational skills with ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with client, colleague, and stakeholder engagement.

Responsibilities

• Own the business development plan and revenue target for the relevant P&C region with a focus on large account pursuits.
• Supervise BD collaboration with senior managers and Principals while maintaining knowledge of BD engagements across the P&C Practice.
• Create and deliver content for monthly updates of BD activity by region for business leaders.
• Collaborate across the P&C Actuarial group to enhance growth strategies and service delivery.
• Identify and encourage development of subject matter experts in chosen fields.
• Review and validate client deliverables ensuring technical accuracy and integrity.
• Mentor staff to support career and professional growth.
• Prepare and deliver high-quality exhibits and written reports for clients.
