Job summary

Oliver Wyman’s Actuarial Consulting Practice in Chicago is seeking a Principal/Senior Principal to oversee a diversified Property & Casualty portfolio. The role focuses on client engagement, project leadership, and strategic growth with self-insureds, captives, and (re)insurers.

Strong leadership and business development are essential. You will mentor junior staff, deliver high-quality reports, and guide proposals while collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• ACAS/FCAS credentials and 10+ years in P&C consulting.
• Proven ability to lead complex client engagements.
• Strong project management and communication skills.
• Experience in business development and proposals.
• Willingness to travel as required.

Responsibilities

• Lead complex client engagements and manage service delivery.
• Drive business development and win new work.
• Coach and mentor junior staff on client interactions.
• Develop high-quality client exhibits and reports.
• Maintain client relationships and address questions promptly.
• Oversee actuarial projects including loss reserving, pricing, and modeling.
