Qualifications

• Experience with large-scale distributed systems and DevOps practices.
• Deep understanding of TCP/IP, BGP, load balancing, and firewall concepts.
• Proficiency with configuration management tools and automation.

Responsibilities

• Architect, build, and support scalable network infrastructure and tooling.
• Serve as SME and mentor team members to raise code quality and architectural standards.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on deployment standards and documentation.
• Build automation tools (Python, Bash, Go, or Rust) and integrate with CI/CD workflows.
• Define SLOs for Akamai Connected Cloud network infrastructure to ensure high availability and performance.
• Work with support, operations, and engineering on complex network issues, including on-call rotations.
