Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a Principal Software Engineer to define the technical direction for digital mobility and lead high-visibility enterprise teams. You will mentor senior engineers, translate prototypes into scalable platforms, and ensure reliability, security, and performance with robust testing and CI/CD practices.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of hands-on information technology experience in systems analysis, design, development, and program development.
• 7+ years of development experience in Java, Swift, SwiftUI, Kotlin.
• 5+ years designing scalable mobile architectures (MVVM, Clean Architecture) and managing long-term technical decisions across platforms.
• 5+ years managing stakeholder requirements and technical solutions.
• 3+ years of experience in CI/CD pipeline automation.
• 3+ years mentoring engineers and influencing mobile strategy at org-wide level.
• 1+ years of software development experience with AI technologies and familiarity with AI/ML frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-learn).
• 1+ years of experience with Flutter.

Responsibilities

• Define and drive the technical direction for the organization and Enterprise Solution Strategy for mobile.
• Mentor senior and staff engineers and translate prototypes into production-grade platforms.
• Establish and enforce reliability, security, performance, and operability standards, embedding testing and observability from day one.
• Lead architectural reviews and influence technical standards across the company.
• Champion DevSecOps maturity and shift-left testing and QA processes.
