Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a Principal Software Engineer to define and drive the technical direction for mobile and enterprise systems. You will work with product, architecture, and engineering leaders to make pragmatic design decisions balancing speed, quality, and maintainability.

You will mentor senior engineers, translate prototypes into scalable production platforms, and embed testing, observability, and CI/CD from day one while shaping a culture of craftsmanship and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in IT with design and development experience.
• 7+ years in mobile architectures and cross-platform experience.
• 1+ years in AI technologies and AI/ML frameworks.
• 3+ years in CI/CD automation and standards.
• Experience with Flutter is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Define technical direction and drive architectural reviews.
• Lead technical programs and establish standards across stacks.
• Mentor engineers and collaborate with product and design teams.
• Partner with enterprise teams on mobile strategy and tooling.
