Job summary

CVS Health Digital is hiring a Principal Software Engineer to define and drive the technical direction for the organization and to work with enterprise teams on mobile strategy. You will stay hands-on with critical systems while mentoring engineers and translating prototypes into scalable production platforms.

You will establish reliability, security, and performance baselines and embed testing, observability, and CI/CD from day one.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of hands-on information technology experience in systems analysis, application design, development.
• 7+ years of development in Java, Swift, Swift UI, Kotlin.
• 5+ years of scalable mobile architectures (MVVM, Clean Architecture).
• 3+ years of CI/CD pipeline automation.
• 1+ years with AI technologies and ML frameworks.
• 1+ years of Flutter experience.

Responsibilities

• Define and drive the technical direction for the organization and enterprise mobile strategy.
• Mentor senior staff engineers and translate prototypes into scalable production platforms.
• Establish reliability, security, performance, and operability; embed testing and observability from day one.
• Lead cross-functional collaboration with product, architecture, and engineering leadership.
• Develop and implement the department's DevSecOps maturity journey and CI/CD tooling.
