Job summary

Pratt & Whitney is seeking a Principal Project Engineer for 24K Mechanical Systems at its MSEN organization. You will lead part‑level ownership, CIPT task planning, and execution for bearings, seals, gears, compartments, and pumps.

You will collaborate with engineering, program management, suppliers, and customers to drive technical execution and program success. The ideal candidate has extensive experience in component design, manufacturing, development, validation, and field service issues,

Qualifications

• BS in Engineering with 8+ years in relevant field.
• Experience in Manufacturing, Military, Logistics, Aerospace or Aviation environments.
• Experience managing technical requirements, risks, schedules, budgets and deliverables; leading cross‑functional teams.
• Strong communication with leadership, customers and suppliers; customer‑facing results.

Responsibilities

• Accountable to CIPT for part-level ownership and program requirements.
• Lead technical risk and issue management and mitigation planning.
• Drive technical and business metrics to meet/exceed program requirements.
• Manage budget and schedule to ensure on‑plan delivery.
• Drive resolution of field investigations, root cause, safety risk assessments, corrective actions.
• Participate in Customer, SIPT, IPMT and Senior Management interactions.
