Job summary

Pratt & Whitney is seeking a highly motivated Senior Project Engineer in the MSEN organization to own CIPT task planning and execution for GTF externals. You will interface with customers, suppliers, and program management to ensure component goals align with program requirements.

The role requires a bachelor’s in STEM with 5 years of experience or an advanced degree with 3 years, and the ability to lead across functions while managing risks, budgets, and schedules within Next Generation

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in STEM with 5 years of relevant experience or an advanced degree with 3 years of relevant experience.
Relevant experience in engineering, aerospace, aviation, manufacturing, or related technical industries.
Ability to lead and coordinate across cross-functional teams, managing risks, schedules, and budgets.
Strong communication skills for customers, suppliers, and program management.

Responsibilities

Own part-level execution within the Externals CIPT, including task planning and execution.
Identify, mitigate, and close key technical risks and issues to support objectives.
Prepare for and participate in technical and program reviews with clear metrics.
Monitor IPT budgets, schedules, technical performance, and business metrics.
Interface with customers, suppliers, SIPTs, IPMTs, engineering, and senior leadership.
