Job summary

RTX Corporation's Pratt & Whitney MSEN seeks a Principal Project Engineer to lead part-level ownership and CIPT task planning for critical mechanical components, aligning with program objectives. You will collaborate with engineering, program management, suppliers and customers to drive execution and success.

The ideal candidate has a BS in Engineering with 8+ years' experience (or an advanced degree with 5+ years), aerospace background, strong leadership, and proven ability to manage risks,

Qualifications

• BS in Engineering with 8+ years of relevant experience, or advanced degree with 5+ years.
• Experience in Manufacturing, Military, Logistics, Aerospace or Aviation.
• Ability to lead cross-functional teams and communicate with leadership, customers and suppliers.
• Experience in engineering/program execution, managing requirements, risks, schedules and budgets; delivering results.

Responsibilities

• Accountable to CIPT for part-level ownership and program requirements.
• Lead risk and issue management with cross-functional actions and timely closure.
• Drive technical and business metrics to meet program requirements.
• Manage budget and schedule for on-plan delivery.
• Promptly resolve field investigations, determine root cause and support safety assessments.
• Participate in Customer, SIPT, IPMT and Senior Management interactions.
