Job summary

RTX's Pratt & Whitney MSEN team seeks a motivated Project Engineer to oversee part-level engineering ownership and CIPT execution. You will coordinate technical activities, manage risks, and support program goals while collaborating with engineering leadership, suppliers, and customers.

Responsibilities include coordinating reviews, supporting budget and schedules, and contributing to engine validation builds and testing, with less than 10% travel.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) is required.
• Demonstrated ability to lead, influence, and coordinate across teams on strategic projects.
• Strong organizational, project management, presentation, and communication skills.
• Customer-focused approach with continuous improvement experience (LEAN, CORE, Six Sigma).

Responsibilities

• Own part-level engineering support for components (bearings, seals, gears, pumps); ensure communication, risk management, and execution meet requirements.
• Identify, manage, and resolve key technical risks and issues with the IPT.
• Coordinate technical and program reviews; ensure readiness and alignment with objectives.
• Support IPT budget, schedule, technical performance, and business metrics.
• Participate in customer, System IPT, IP M Team and management meetings; support engine validation builds and testing.
