Job summary

Valar Atomics is seeking a Principal Instrumentation & Controls Hardware Engineer to own the technical direction across reactor and fuel manufacturing facilities. You will define architecture and strategy at the level of architecture and design authority, ensuring safety, quality, and regulatory alignment while guiding the engineering team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Electronic, Mechanical, Chemical, or Systems Engineering (or related).
• 10+ years of instrumentation or I&C engineering experience in process industries.

Responsibilities

• Define I&C hardware architecture and technology roadmap across reactor program and facilities.
• Own design philosophy, measurement strategy, and calibration/maintenance philosophy guiding downstream projects.
• Direct measurement technology strategy for severe-service conditions and fossil-free qualification programs.
• Lead standards program: set framework for engineering standards and approve standards for release.
