Job summary

Salesforce seeks a Forward Deployed Engineer to lead the implementation of agentic analytics across Tableau Next, Cloud, and Server. You will bridge product and customer success by architecting first-use cases and dashboards, transforming data into actionable insights.

You will work with data lakehouse pipelines, semantic modeling, and AI-driven frameworks to deliver rapid value for strategic customers and provide feedback for product roadmap.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of technical experience in data engineering, analytics implementation, or software development with a focus on customer-facing delivery.
• Strong hands-on experience with modern data architectures and SQL, especially data modeling and schema design.
• Experience with LLMs, RAG, or conversational AI frameworks.
• Solid understanding of mapping business logic to physical data (semantic layers).
• Proficiency in Python for data manipulation and scripting; familiarity with API integrations.

Responsibilities

• Architect and deploy end-to-end conversational analytics agents, optimized for accuracy, latency, and relevance.
• Design and refine semantic data models within Salesforce Data360 to enable accurate querying and visualization.
• Lead rapid prototyping during implementation to accelerate time-to-value for customers.
• Ingest and unify data from multiple sources into the Data360 lakehouse and canonical models.
• Document customer friction points and collaborate with Product/Engineering to prioritize features.
• Provide technical hand-offs and mentoring to customer data teams for long-term maintenance.
• Perform deep-dive analyses to resolve performance bottlenecks and data modeling issues.
