Job summary

Blue Origin seeks an engineer to design, analyze, and install New Glenn fluid subsystems. You will work on conceptual design, thermo-fluid modeling, structural layout, integration, and mission support to ensure safe, reliable hardware.

You will lead a team, manage schedules and costs, triage production issues, and collaborate with stakeholders to meet stringent spaceflight requirements. A BS in mechanical or aerospace engineering is required.

Qualifications

• BS degree in mechanical or aerospace engineering.
• 3+ years in design of aerospace fluid systems and project management.
• Experience with valves, regulators, and fittings.

Responsibilities

• Design, model, and analyze fluid subsystems across lifecycle.
• Support production: triage stoppages, root-cause analysis, corrective actions.
• Collaborate to define requirements, dependencies, and schedules.
• Lead multi-person development projects and manage scope, cost, and schedule.
• Oversee testing, documentation, and compliance with human space flight standards.
