Concurrent Real-Time, part of HBK's Virtual Test Division, in Florida, seeks a Principal Engineer for the Simulation Workbench team to lead critical real-time subsystems.

You will own core components, including the real-time scheduler and I/O support, work with FPGA cards and common protocols, and mentor engineers while helping set the technical roadmap for our hardware-in-the-loop platform.

Qualifikationen

• 10+ years of software development in a Linux environment.
• Expert-level C/C++ with solid Java knowledge.
• Real-time systems experience, including timing and determinism.
• Hands-on with I/O boards and device-level software.
• Experience owning a subsystem end-to-end; MATLAB/Simulink integration preferred.

Aufgaben

• Own and evolve core SimWB subsystems, including scheduler and configuration server.
• Design and debug I/O support for FPGA cards and industry protocols.
• Develop and maintain the SimWB SDK and APIs for customers and internal teams.
• Diagnose complex real-time issues and provide escalation support.
• Produce design docs and mentor engineers; set coding standards and reviews.
• Collaborate with the SimWB Manager on roadmap feasibility and effort.
