Job summary

Concurrent Real-Time, part of HBK's Virtual Test Division, seeks a hands-on Manager to lead the Simulation Workbench (SimWB) team. You will set direction, own delivery, and contribute as an engineer while guiding roadmap and architecture.

You will work with Applications Engineering, Support, and Manufacturing to ship complete, tested systems on schedule, and drive licensing, demos, and customer-facing escalations. Strong leadership and Linux/C++ expertise are required.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of software engineering experience
• 3+ years leading or managing an engineering team
• Hands-on development in C and C++ with knowledge of Java
• Experience owning product direction or technical architecture

Responsibilities

• Lead the SimWB engineering team and set priorities
• Stay hands-on in design, code, and problem solving
• Own on-time shipment of SimWB systems and release process
• Oversee SimWB licensing, demos, and renewals
• Coordinate with Support and Applications Engineering teams
• Recruit, hire, and develop engineers and build team depth
• Define SimWB roadmap with Principal Engineer and translate customer needs
