Job summary

Ascensus is seeking a Principal Architect to serve as the enterprise technology owner for End User Computing and Modern Endpoint Management. You will define the endpoint strategy, set standards, and own platforms such as Intune, Autopilot, and Addigy across Windows, macOS, and mobile devices.

You will lead architecture governance, partner with Cybersecurity, Procurement, and service providers, and provide technical escalation for complex endpoint engineering challenges while guiding large-scale

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field; master’s preferred.
• 10+ years IT experience with endpoint architecture, desktop engineering, or End User Computing leadership.
• Experience with Windows, macOS, and mobile platforms at scale.
• Strong PowerShell scripting required; API automation preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute enterprise endpoint architecture strategy for Windows, macOS, and mobile.
• Own Windows Autopilot, Intune, Apple Business Manager, Entra ID device registration, and related tools.
• Design and govern end-user Group Policies and endpoint configuration standards.
• Lead vendor evaluations and lifecycle for endpoint hardware and software licensing.
• Collaborate with Cybersecurity on endpoint security controls and Zero Trust initiatives.
• Provide technical leadership without direct supervisory responsibilities.
