Job summary

The Principal Architect at Ascensus serves as the enterprise technology owner for End User Computing, Endpoint Engineering, and Enterprise Mobility Services, defining the endpoint strategy for ~7,500 devices. You will lead architecture, governance, and modernization efforts across Windows, macOS, and mobile platforms, while partnering with Cybersecurity to align with risk and compliance requirements.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in CS/IS or related field; master’s preferred.
10+ years IT experience with endpoint architecture and leadership.
Experience with Windows/macOS/mobile endpoints and lifecycle management.
Strong scripting and automation background (PowerShell).

Responsibilities

Develop and execute the enterprise endpoint architecture strategy and roadmaps.
Own Intune, Autopilot, and related endpoint management technologies.
Design enrollment, zero-touch provisioning, imaging, and software distribution processes.
Lead hardware lifecycle planning and vendor relationships.
Partner with Cybersecurity on endpoint security controls and Zero Trust.
Provide technical leadership across Desktop Support and service providers.
