Job summary

Ascensus is seeking a Principal Architect to own the enterprise endpoint strategy and governance for End User Computing, Endpoint Engineering, Modern Endpoint Management, and Enterprise Mobility Services across approximately 7,500 endpoints. This senior technical authority guides standards, platform ownership, and resident processes to ensure secure, scalable endpoint services.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field; master’s preferred.
At least 10 years of progressive IT experience with endpoint architecture, desktop engineering, or End User Computing leadership.
Extensive cross-platform experience across Windows, macOS, and mobile environments.

Responsibilities

Develop and execute enterprise endpoint architecture strategy, standards, governance, and roadmaps for Windows, macOS, and mobile platforms.
Own operating system standards, upgrade planning, feature adoption, and endpoint configuration baselines.
Lead modernization and enrollment processes across platforms including Intune, Autopilot, and device provisioning.
Coordinate with Cybersecurity on endpoint security controls, risk remediation, and Zero Trust initiatives.
Provide technical direction to internal teams and third-party service providers.
