Job summary

Ascensus seeks a Principal Architect to own enterprise endpoint technology, leading End User Computing, Endpoint Engineering, Modern Endpoint Management, and Enterprise Mobility Services for about 7,500 endpoints across Windows, macOS, and mobile devices. You will define and execute the endpoint strategy and oversee standards, governance, and lifecycle management.

The role requires strong leadership, deep expertise in Intune, Autopilot, device enrollment, policy management, and collaboration

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field; master's preferred.
• 10+ years of IT experience with endpoint architecture and End User Computing leadership.
• Extensive experience with Windows, macOS, and mobile device management at scale.
• Hands-on knowledge of Intune, Autopilot, Apple Business Manager, Entra ID, NinjaOne, and Addigy.
• Strong PowerShell scripting and automation skills; excellent communication and stakeholder management.

Responsibilities

• Define and execute the enterprise endpoint architecture strategy, standards, governance, and roadmaps.
• Own OS standards, upgrade planning, feature adoption, and baseline configurations.
• Lead endpoint planning for acquisitions, migrations, and large-scale device refreshes.
• Own Modern Endpoint Management and device enrollment, zero-touch provisioning, and imaging.
• Partner with Cybersecurity to design endpoint security controls and Zero Trust initiatives.
