Job summary

RTX’s Air Launched Effector Guidance Systems (ALEGS) Department seeks a Principal Electrical Engineer – Production Hardware in Tucson, AZ. You will drive program execution, cost, schedule, and technical oversight across the product lifecycle while providing resources for development and sustainment of airborne electrical products.

You will lead cross-functional teams, work with Operations and Quality, and travel less than 10% annually.

Qualifications

Typically requires a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Science, Physics, Mathematics, or a related STEM degree and a minimum of 8 years’ prior relevant experience.
Experience with RF, analog, digital, and / or mixed signal circuit design or analysis and / or digital signal processing.
Familiarity with laboratory equipment including waveform generators, oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, and/or network analyzers.
Experience with leading technical projects, failure investigations, or issue resolution efforts.

Responsibilities

Enhance electrical engineering skills working with digital, analog and/or RF hardware testing and debugging complex circuit card assemblies or electro-mechanical systems.
Collaborate and coordinate with Operations, Supply Chain, Quality, and other Engineering disciplines to achieve/document concurrence and resolve issues during production, testing, and integration.
