Job summary

RTX is seeking an Electrical Engineer II for Production Hardware in Tucson, AZ. Onsite, 1st shift, with U.S. citizenship and an active DoD Secret clearance required.

Responsibilities include developing/test­ing of RF/analog/digital/mixed‑signal circuits, debugging, and collaborating with cross‑functional teams to resolve production issues. Relocation assistance and a comprehensive benefits package are offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Science, Physics, Mathematics, or a related STEM field.
• Minimum of 2 years’ relevant experience in RF, analog, digital, or mixed-signal circuit design or analysis.
• Experience with digital signal processing and laboratory equipment (waveform generators, oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, network analyzers).
• Familiarity with listed tools: Mentor Graphics, PSPICE, System Vision, MATLAB, Mathcad, IDL, CST, Microwave Design Studio, HFSS, ADS.
• Knowledge of missile communication transceivers, data links, IMU, and GPS receiver subsystems.
• Self‑starter capable of working independently and leading small technical teams.

Responsibilities

• Develop and test digital, analog, RF, and mixed‑signal circuit card assemblies and electro‑mechanical systems.
• Debug and troubleshoot complex hardware units.
• Collaborate with Operations, Supply Chain, Quality, and cross‑disciplinary Engineering teams to resolve production, test, and integration issues.
• Provide technical oversight, cost estimation, tracking, reporting, and detailed technical documentation for the team.
• Support supplier and sub‑tier supplier testing, automation scripting, and production process improvements.
