Job summary

Stanley Consultants in the United States is seeking a Principal Electrical Engineer with expertise in power generation, relay settings, plant facilities design, and microgrid clients. This hybrid role offers flexible work options.

You will lead design efforts for power plants, microgrids, and distribution systems, coordinate across disciplines, and manage budgets and schedules while developing detailed drawings and specifications.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering is required.
• Professional Engineer (PE) Registration is required.
• 10+ years of electrical design experience.
• Proficiency with ETAP, SKM, or similar electrical modeling software.

Responsibilities

• Design and layout of power plant sites, microgrids, and distribution systems with medium and low voltage.
• Design of schematic and wiring diagrams; prepare equipment and system specifications.
• Prepare reports; determine code requirements; perform design computations.
• Coordinate technical efforts within discipline areas.
• Manage a design budget and schedule.
• Proficiently develop engineering drawings and specifications.
• Perform and check engineering calculations.
• Size, select, and specify electrical equipment; coordinate with vendors.
• Conduct project field site visits.
