Job summary

Stanley Consultants seeks a Principal Electrical Engineer to lead power generation, plant facilities design, and microgrid initiatives across an international client base. The role blends technical leadership with hands-on design, analysis, and project coordination.

You will mentor teams, manage budgets and schedules, ensure code compliance, and collaborate with vendors. Hybrid or remote work options reflect our flexible, employee-owned culture.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering required.
• Professional Engineer (PE) Registration preferred or required where applicable.
• 10+ years of relevant electrical design experience.
• Proficiency with ETAP, SKM, or similar electrical modeling software.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate across teams.
• Self-motivated and adaptable to evolving client and project needs.

Responsibilities

• Design and layout of power plant sites, microgrids, and medium/low voltage distribution.
• Design schematic and wiring diagrams; prepare equipment specifications.
• Prepare reports; determine code requirements; perform design computations.
• Coordinate technical efforts within disciplines; manage a design budget and schedule.
• Develop engineering drawings and specifications; perform engineering calculations.
• Size, select, and coordinate electrical equipment with vendors; perform site visits.
