Job summary

Stanley Consultants is seeking a Principal Electrical Engineer to lead electrical design for power generation, microgrids, and plant facilities. The role requires PE registration, a strong background in power systems, and experience with medium/low voltage layouts and protective relaying.

The position supports hybrid work across offices or remote locations, with a focus on client delivery, collaboration, and project leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering required.
• PE Registration required.
• Over 10 years of electrical design experience.
• Proficiency with ETAP/SKM or similar software.

Responsibilities

• Design and layout power plant sites, microgrids, and distribution systems (MV/LV).
• Create schematics, wiring diagrams, and equipment specifications.
• Prepare reports, code determinations, and design calculations.
• Coordinate across discipline teams and manage budgets/schedules.
• Develop drawings and perform engineering calculations.
• Size/select electrical equipment and coordinate with vendors.
• Visit project sites for field verification.
