Job summary

Stanley Consultants is seeking a Principal Electrical Engineer to lead electrical design for power generation, plant facilities, and microgrid projects. This senior role emphasizes client interaction, technical leadership, and project delivery.

You will design, model, and specify electrical systems, manage budgets and schedules, and mentor junior staff. Hybrid or remote work options and a robust benefits package are provided.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering.
• Professional Engineer (PE) Registration.
• 10+ years of electrical design experience.
• Proficiency with ETAP, SKM, or similar electrical modeling software.
• Excellent communication and collaboration.
• Self-motivated and adaptable to evolving client needs.

Responsibilities

• Design and layout of power plant site, microgrids, and low/medium voltage systems.
• Prepare schematics, wiring diagrams, and equipment specifications.
• Prepare reports, determine code requirements, and perform/design calculations.
• Coordinate technical efforts within discipline areas.
• Manage design budget and schedule.
• Develop engineering drawings and specifications.
• Perform engineering calculations.
• Size, select, and specify electrical equipment and coordinate with vendors.
• Conduct project field site visits.
