Job summary

Fuze Health is seeking a Principal Engineer to set the technical vision and architecture for FuzeRx, guiding multiple squads and ensuring scalable, secure, and compliant systems.

You will drive high-impact initiatives, mentor engineers, and collaborate with product and operations to align with business and clinical needs. Strong experience in distributed systems and healthcare tech is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or higher in CS, software engineering, or a related technical discipline.
• 10+ years of progressive software engineering and systems design.
• Experience with high-volume, highly available B2B SaaS systems.
• Strong leadership and mentoring of engineers.
• Ability to define target architecture and drive execution.

Responsibilities

• Define and evolve the target architecture for FuzeRx's core platforms.
• Lead design and implementation of high-volume API integrations and distributed data systems.
• Mentor Staff, Senior, and Mid-level engineers to elevate engineering culture.
• Establish and enforce engineering standards, testing, CI/CD, and security-by-design principles.
• Collaborate with Product, Engineering Managers, and Pharmacy Operations to align with business goals.
