Job summary

Fuze Health is seeking a Principal Engineer to shape the architectural vision for the FuzeRx ecosystem, overseeing high-scale, secure, compliant systems. You will guide multiple squads, mentor engineers, and drive design reviews and automation practices in a healthcare context.

The role emphasizes distributed systems, cloud-native delivery, and collaboration with product management and operations to meet regulatory requirements and performance objectives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or higher in a relevant technical discipline.
• 10+ years of progressive software engineering and systems design.
• Experience building scalable B2B SaaS or transactional systems.
• Strong knowledge of health tech or regulated environments.
• Familiarity with HL7, FHIR, or EHR integrations is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Define and evolve target architecture for core platforms across B2B and consumer spaces.
• Mentor Staff/Senior/Mid engineers and enforce design standards.
• Lead high-volume API integrations and complex fulfillment logistics.
• Collaborate with Product, Engineering Managers, and Pharmacy Ops.
• Ensure HIPAA/SOC2 compliance and data security across systems.
