Western Alliance Bancorporation seeks a Principal Engineer I for ServiceNow AIOPS/ITOM. You will define multi-year roadmaps, architect event correlation, and lead builds across Event Management, Cloud Observability, and Log Analytics.

You will integrate with Dynatrace, Datadog, Splunk, and major cloud providers, guiding junior engineers and ensuring governance. The role emphasizes strong SRE/ITIL practices, JavaScript scripting, and REST/SOAP API work, with CSA and CAD certifications valued.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of enterprise IT Operations/Observability with deep hands-on ServiceNow ITOM/AIOPS experience.
• Proven delivery of Event Management, Predictive AIOps, Health Log Analytics, Metric Intelligence, and Discovery/Service Mapping at scale.

Responsabilités

• Define the multi-year roadmap for ServiceNow AIOps/ITOM, aligned to SLAs and platform governance.
• Architect event correlation, noise reduction, anomaly detection and root cause workflows.
• Establish design patterns for service maps and dependency models using CMDB, Discovery, Service Graph.
• Lead build-out and optimization of Event Management, Cloud Observability, Metric Intelligence, and Log Analytics.
• Integrate ServiceNow with monitoring/logging tools and cloud providers.
• Review designs and ensure reusable, scalable solutions and documentation.
