Job summary

Amazon Web Services, Inc. is seeking a Principal AI/ML HPC Specialist to join the Technical Account Manager team.

You will guide NAMER Research labs to enterprise customers, solving AI/ML HPC challenges from training on GPU clusters to production-grade inference at scale. You will lead deep technical engagements, architect solutions using Slurm, ECS/Batch, SageMaker HyperPod, and DLAMIs, and help customers optimize performance and cost across multi-node clusters.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of AI/ML, distributed computing, or GPU-accelerated infrastructure
• 3+ years in customer-facing ML training or inference architectures
• 10+ years of IT development/consulting in software/cloud/AI/ML
• Experience with PyTorch, TensorFlow, or JAX in production
• Proven ability to be a trusted technical advisor to enterprise customers

Responsibilities

• Lead comprehensive technical deep-dives and performance optimization for enterprise AI/ML workloads
• Design production-grade AI/ML training/inference solutions using Slurm, PyTorch FSDP, DeepSpeed, Megatron-LM
• Enable customer success with LLMs, PINNs, MLOps, and HPC governance
• Improve GPU/Trainium utilization and NCCL throughput; drive cost governance
• Partner with service teams to share reference architectures and benchmarks
