Job summary

AWS is seeking a Principal AI/ML HPC Specialist to join the Technical Account Manager team. You will lead technical engagements, guide NAMER research labs to enterprise customers, and help scale AI/ML deployments from distributed training on GPU clusters to production-grade inference.

You will partner with customers and AWS teams to design, validate, and optimize HPC and AI pipelines, using Slurm, PyTorch, SageMaker HyperPod, and advanced NCCL tuning.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in Data & AI tech including AI/ML, Analytics, or Storage.
• 3+ years designing or consulting on large-scale ML training or inference architectures.
• 10+ years IT development in software, cloud computing, or AI/ML industries.
• Demonstrated ability to serve as a trusted technical advisor to enterprise customers.

Responsibilities

• Lead comprehensive technical deep-dives and optimize enterprise AI/ML workloads.
• Design production-grade AI/ML training and inference solutions.
• Support customers implementing HPC capabilities and LLMs.
• Improve GPU/Trainium utilization and NCCL performance across multi-node clusters.
• Partner with service teams on roadmaps and reference architectures.
