United Airlines is seeking a Principal Developer to design, build, test, and support AI agents and the software that enables them. You will connect existing capabilities like Flight Shopping and Reference Data to AI-enabled experiences via secure APIs and tool integrations.

You will lead development, perform code reviews, mentor engineers, and drive patterns for reliability, security, and performance across enterprise systems.

Competenze

• Bachelor's degree in a related field.
• Seven years of software development experience with APIs and distributed services.
• Hands-on experience building AI agents or LLM-based apps.
• Proficiency in Python and enterprise tech like C#/.NET.
• Experience designing APIs, microservices, and cloud deployments.
• Knowledge of AI risks and security controls.
• Strong communication and cross-team collaboration.
