Job summary

United Airlines seeks a Senior Developer to design and build scalable AI automation solutions using Python, TypeScript, and .NET/C#. You will create multi-agent workflows, integrate with customer channels, and drive architectural decisions in an Agile environment.

You will collaborate with AI/ML engineers, data scientists, and product teams to deliver high-quality, well-documented code and maintain AI agent functionality while exploring new AI technologies.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in software design and development.
• Strong proficiency in Python programming.
• Experience with TypeScript and .NET/C# development.
• Knowledge of Object-Oriented design and Application Development.
• Experience implementing AWS technologies.
• Strong knowledge of API development and integration.
• Experience with Cloud Automation Development Tools.
• Knowledge of SQL, NoSQL databases and Design Patterns.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States for any employer without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deploy AI agents and agentic workflows using LangChain, LangGraph, or similar frameworks.
• Build scalable automation solutions handling high-volume customer intents and journeys during peak demand.
• Develop conversational AI solutions and voice automation integrated with customer service channels.
• Write clean, well-documented code in Python, TypeScript, and .NET/C#.
• Implement and optimize AI agent orchestration, prompt engineering, and RAG patterns.
• Collaborate with AI/ML engineers, data scientists, and product teams to translate requirements.
• Participate in full development life cycle and Agile design activities.
• Serve as technical expert on AI automation development projects.
• Create technical specifications from design and business requirements.
• Support, maintain, and document AI agent functionality.
• Identify and evaluate new AI technologies and frameworks.
