Job summary

United Community seeks an AI Development and Enablement Analyst to design, build, test, publish, and maintain approved AI agents and automation capabilities across enterprise platforms. You will validate agent outputs, maintain inventories, and partner with Technology, Risk, Compliance, Legal, and business units to ensure governance and safety.

The role involves hands-on building, testing, and lifecycle support for AI agents.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Data Analytics, Business Analytics, MIS or equivalent work experience preferred.
2+ years of technology, business analysis, data analysis, automation, software support, or related tech role preferred.
Experience building, configuring, testing, or supporting AI agents, chatbots, or low-code/no-code apps preferred.
Experience with Microsoft 365, Copilot, Copilot Studio, Power Platform, SharePoint, Teams, ServiceNow, Wrike, GitHub, Jira or similar enterprise platforms preferred.
Experience documenting business requirements, test cases, UAT, procedures, inventories, dashboards, and control evidence.

Responsibilities

Design, build, configure, test, publish, and support approved AI agents using Bank-approved platforms.
Partner with business units to evaluate AI use case requests and define scope and guardrails.
Develop and maintain agent instructions, prompts, knowledge sources, connectors, and escalation procedures.
Perform structured testing of AI agents, including grounding validation and hallucination checks.
Review and maintain AI-enabled solutions from other teams or third parties for governance and access controls.
Maintain the enterprise inventory of AI use cases, tools, agents, and ownership.
Coordinate governance review and approval processes with RBAC, IT Security, Legal, and Risk teams.
Monitor usage, feedback, failures, and knowledge source freshness post-release.
Create and maintain documentation for published agents, including purpose, data sources, and change history.
Support maintenance of agents by updating instructions, sources, configurations, and retirement of outdated agents.
Develop metrics, dashboards, and management reporting on AI use cases and maturity.
Assist with AI awareness, training, and enablement activities.
Identify opportunities to improve efficiency and knowledge retrieval with AI while ensuring human oversight.
Stay current on AI platforms, governance expectations, and security considerations.
Complete required compliance training and other duties as assigned.
