Job summary

CSAA IG is seeking a Principal Software Engineer for Emerging Technology and AI, with remote work allowed across the United States (excluding Hawaii and Alaska). You will lead hands-on technical work, prototype AI experiments, and set architectural direction across platforms and delivery teams.

In this senior role, you will mentor engineers, shape enterprise standards, and translate experiments into scalable solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS/engineering/tech or equivalent and 10+ years software engineering experience.
• Proven expertise in modern software development, cloud-native patterns, and API integrations.
• Experience with AI/GenAI concepts and enterprise-scale experiments.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical design and evaluation of prototypes, pilots, and software experiments.
• Mentor engineers, set design patterns, and guide enterprise adoption.
• Collaborate with Architecture, Security, Data, and platform teams on implementation.
