CSAA Insurance Group (CSAA IG) is seeking a Principal Software Engineer focused on Emerging Technology & AI. You will lead hands-on technical work, prototype new AI capabilities, and drive architectural decisions across initiatives that shape enterprise standards.

This role is remote in the United States with exceptions for Hawaii and Alaska. You will collaborate with Enterprise Architecture and delivery teams to translate experiments into scalable solutions, mentor engineers, and help define

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent + 10+ years in software engineering
• 10 years software development experience
• Experience with cloud-native services (AWS Lambda, DynamoDB, S3)

• Lead technical design of trials, prototypes, and controlled pilots across diverse technologies and platforms.
• Mentor engineers and influence architecture choices and enterprise adoption decisions.
• Collaborate with Enterprise Architecture and delivery teams to ensure architecture alignment and guidance.
• Evaluate APIs, cloud services, AI platforms, data sources, and vendor products through hands-on testing.
