Intuit is seeking a Principal on the Customer Intelligence team within Strategy & Business Operations. You’ll act as an insights thought partner to VP leaders across QuickBooks priorities, guiding end-to-end learning and measurement.

Qualifications

• 8–12+ years of experience in customer insights, strategy, analytics, management consulting, or a related field.
• Experience advising senior executives on complex, high-stakes decisions; you can lead with the answer, structure a clear and concise narrative, and get a VP to a decision in one conversation.
• Structured problem solver who can break down ambiguous, complex problems into addressable components, develop hypotheses that guide the work.
• Hands-on practitioner: you've personally designed, executed, and analyzed insights projects end to end, working independently, and you're comfortable being the one who does the work.
• Multi-method by instinct — you choose the approach that fits the decision rather than defaulting to the method you know best.
• Strong business judgment — you connect customer signal to strategy, financial performance, and execution.
• Comfortable with data — you can interrogate a dataset, spot biases, and explain implications for conclusions.
• Influence without authority — you build trusted relationships with senior stakeholders across Product, Design, Marketing, Analytics, Data Science, Business Operations, and Customer Success.
• Self-starter — you proactively identify questions worth asking and find creative workarounds.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a trusted advisor to VP/Director+ leaders — define the strategy questions, build learning plans, and advise on high-stakes decisions.
• Partner with Business Operations to connect insight to execution and planning cycles.
• Lead complex, ambiguous strategy projects — frame problems, develop hypotheses, design multi-method approaches, run analyses, and deliver recommendations.
• Mobilize insights — frame option sets, articulate tradeoffs, recommend execution paths, and define success metrics.
• Build AI-native ways of working — shape how we capture, analyze, and deliver insights with AI tools.
• Advance our customer listening and intelligence infrastructure — enhance how feedback is captured and used.
• Raise the craft bar as a thought leader — mentor others and develop reusable AI-native frameworks.
