Job summary

Red Seal Recruiting Ltd. is partnering with a community health center in the Greater Sacramento area to hire a full-time Advanced Practice Clinician (NP or PA) delivering comprehensive primary care to diverse, underserved populations.

The position offers $131,000–$170,000 annually, 8–5 schedule or 4x10s, with excellent benefits, collaboration with physicians, and a focus on high-quality, patient-centered care.

Qualifications

• Active California PA license.
• NCCPA board certification.
• Current DEA certification.
• Current BLS certification.
• 1–2 years of clinical experience, preferably in community health.
• Commitment to serving underserved communities.
• Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive patient evaluations, including history and physical examinations.
• Diagnose and manage acute and chronic medical conditions.
• Order and interpret laboratory tests, imaging, and other diagnostics.
• Prescribe medications and therapeutic interventions within scope of practice.
• Develop and implement treatment plans with Medical Director.
• Monitor patient progress and modify care plans as appropriate.
• Initiate emergency procedures when clinically indicated.
• Provide preventive care, health education, and counseling services.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation per standards.
• Collaborate with physicians and healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated, high-quality care.
