Job summary
Key People seeks a full-time Advanced Practice Clinician (Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant) to provide comprehensive primary care in a community health setting in the Greater Sacramento area, CA. Competitive compensation and relocation assistance are offered, with standard 8- to 5- hour shifts or a 4x10 option.
The role emphasizes serving underserved populations and collaborating with physicians and care teams to deliver high-quality, evidence-based care.
Qualifications
- Active California RN and Nurse Practitioner license.
- Current Nurse Practitioner board certification.
- Current DEA certification.
- Current BLS certification.
- 1–2 years of clinical experience preferred, especially in community health.
- Commitment to serving medically underserved communities.
- Comfortable treating three patients per hour.
- EPIC experience and in-basket management competency.
- Bilingual English and Spanish strongly preferred.
Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive patient evaluations, including history and physical exams.
- Diagnose and manage acute and chronic conditions.
- Order and interpret labs and imaging.
- Prescribe medications within scope of practice.
- Develop and implement treatment plans with Medical Director.
- Monitor progress and adjust care plans as needed.
- Initiate emergency procedures when indicated.
- Provide preventive care, health education and counseling.
- Maintain accurate documentation per standards.
- Collaborate with physicians for coordinated care.
