Job summary

Marathon Health is seeking an experienced Medical Assistant to join our care team in a primary care setting. You will support physicians, manage front desk tasks, take vitals, and assist with procedures to ensure an excellent patient experience.

We offer competitive benefits starting the first month, 15 days of PTO plus holidays, and no out-of-pocket costs for scrubs. Pay range is $21.00–$26.00 per hour, with offers varying by location and experience.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of experience as Medical Assistant, preferably in primary care.
• Graduation from a formal Medical Assistant program or related program.
• National or state MA certification or registration is strongly preferred.
• CPR/BLS certification required at start date.
• Phlebotomy experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Escort patients to exam rooms and ensure rooms are clean and stocked.
• Take vitals and assist with procedures.
• Administrate medications and immunizations as ordered by Provider.
• Front desk duties: scheduling, records requests, referrals, and check-in/out.
• Record data in medical records and communicate test results to patients.
