Job summary

Community Health Center of Clinton seeks a Medical Assistant to support primary care providers with clinical and technical tasks. You will prepare patients, document vital signs, perform CLIA-waived tests, and assist with scheduling and referrals to ensure smooth patient flow.

Collaborate with nurses and physicians, maintain infection control standards, and deliver high-quality customer service in a team-driven environment at our Clinton, CT site.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalency required.
• Completion of an Medical Assistant course from an accredited school.
• MA certification/registration (AAMA, NHA, NCCT) or obtained within 90 days of hire.
• Familiarity with medical testing procedures and scheduling tasks.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical and technical support for primary care providers.
• Prepare patients and document vital signs and results.
• Perform CLIA waived tests, EKG, hearing and vision tests.
• Coordinate tests and referrals; maintain patient flow and safety.
