CHI Health Clinic is seeking a Medical Assistant / CMA to provide compassionate, patient‑centered care and support providers across clinic settings. You will take vital signs, review allergies and medications, prepare specimens, and assist with medications or vaccines while maintaining efficient workflow.

Qualifications

• Graduate of ABHES- or CAAHEP-accredited medical assisting program.
• Completed Medication Aide 40-hour course or has current/valid certification.
• BLS certification from the American Heart Association is required.

Responsibilities

• Performs general patient care following established clinic workflows.
• Greets and prepares patients for the health care provider by obtaining and recording vital signs, reviewing drug allergies and current medications, completing applicable screening questionnaires and documenting reasons for visit.
• Collects and prepares ordered specimens for laboratory analysis.
• Prepares and provides ordered medications and/or vaccines to patients.
• Performs other duties within scope of role as assigned.

Expectations:

Job Requirements

Required:

• Graduate of a medical assisting program accredited by the Accrediting Bureau of Health Education Schools (ABHES) or Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education (CAAHEP)
• Successfully completed Medication Aide 40-hour course or current/valid
• Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association

Pay Range

$18.06 - $25.51 /hour
