Job summary

Park Nicollet is hiring a Medical Receptionist to join our Primary Care Frontline team. You will greet patients, check in, collect co-pays, schedule follow-up appointments and referrals, and support clerical duties with warm, confidential service.

This role also involves answering calls, handling EMR tasks, and ensuring courteous, timely patient interactions. Work Monday–Friday day shifts with occasional Saturdays; clinic hours are 7AM–6PM Monday and 7AM–5PM Tue–Fri at Eden Prairie location.

Qualifications

• 6 months related experience.
• Accurate computer/keyboard skills.
• Demonstrates knowledge of age-related growth and development principles necessary to provide appropriate service and assure safety of patients.
• Must be proficient in the operation of the following types of equipment: telephone and headsets, PC, printer, photo copier and fax machine.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients, check in patients, collect co-pays, schedule follow-up appointments and referrals, and support departmental clerical duties.
• Answer incoming telephone calls from patients and employer groups, meeting department guidelines and processes.
• Provide support for scheduling needs, patient forms management, follow-up calls to patients, and EMR tasks.
• Maintain patient confidentiality and ensure quality service with timely and courteous assistance.
• Engage in ongoing process improvement and adapt to department changes, while maintaining a clean and orderly work area.
