Job summary

Park Nicollet Health Services in Minnesota is seeking a Medical Receptionist to join our Primary Care Frontline team. The role combines call center duties with front desk support, greeting patients, collecting co-pays, scheduling follow-ups and referrals, while upholding patient confidentiality and delivering courteous service.

You will work a Monday–Friday day shift with occasional Saturdays, in a collaborative team.

Qualifications

• 6 months related experience
• Accurate computer/keyboard skills required.
• Demonstrates knowledge of age-related growth and development principles necessary to provide appropriate service and assure safety of patients.
• Must be proficient in the operation of telephone, headsets, PC, printer, photo copier and fax machine.

Responsibilities

• Answer and respond to incoming calls from patients and employer groups.
• Greet patients, collect co-pays, schedule follow-up appointments and referrals, and perform clerical duties.
• Maintain patient confidentiality and provide courteous service.
• Support on-going process improvements and departmental changes; maintain a clean, orderly work area.
