Job summary

Park Nicollet Burnsville Primary Care is seeking a Medical Receptionist to join the frontline team. You will greet patients, collect co-pays, schedule follow-ups and referrals, and support clerical tasks throughout the day.

The position requires handling calls and messages in a fast-paced clinic, maintaining confidentiality, and delivering courteous, efficient service. Monday–Friday day shift with occasional Saturdays, at a busy clinic serving 25+ clinicians and 300+ patients daily.

Qualifications

• 6 months related experience required.
• Accurate computer/keyboard skills required.
• Demonstrates knowledge of age-related growth and development principles.
• Proficient with telephone, PC, printer, photo copier and fax machine.

Responsibilities

• Answer and respond to incoming patient and employer calls in a timely, accurate manner.
• Greet patients, collect co-pays, schedule follow-up appointments and referrals.
• Support clerical duties and maintain patient confidentiality at all times.
• Provide excellent customer service, assist with process improvements, and keep work area orderly.
