Job summary

Park Nicollet is seeking a Medical Receptionist to join our Primary Care Frontline team. You will be the face of the clinic, greeting patients, collecting co-pays, scheduling follow-ups, and assisting with referrals.

You’ll handle incoming calls, provide courteous service, and support departmental clerical tasks to ensure a seamless patient experience. We emphasize patient confidentiality, timely communication, and professional conduct in a fast-paced setting.

Qualifications

• 6 months related experience.
• Accurate computer/keyboard skills required.
• Demonstrates knowledge of age-related growth and development principles necessary to provide appropriate service and assure safety of patients.
• Must be proficient in operation of telephone, headsets, PC, printer, copier and fax machine.

Responsibilities

• Answer and respond to incoming calls from patients and employer groups.
• Greet patients at the front desk, collect co-pays, schedule follow-up appointments and referrals.
• Support clerical duties and maintain patient confidentiality.
